the rain that greets this stupid land
is a mend to all my sorrow
yet procrastination to be had
shall curse me in the morrow
my day was spent in pondering---
an epoch of fear and woe,
and all my thoughts went wandering,
no bliss was i to know.
my words, they got the best of me
and cut my mouth like nails,
and crucified my elegy--
a plaintive, lonely tale..
though karma's ingenuity
may brighten all my views,
like the rain, its ambiguity
may rectify my muse.
and my convictions shall expose
the pain he can’t forget.
and I will sing my pretty prose
and curse his silhouette
wet, shall be his clammy hand
and dry shall be thy cheeks
and I shall whistle full and grand,
for weeks and weeks and weeks

This is really well written. I wish I had your natural rhythm that you possess. My favorite lines ' my words, they got the best of me
and cut my mouth like nails,
and crucified my elegy--
a plaintive, lonely tale..'. This is an amazing write poet keep up the great work!
