That is fine but damn nothing like being just a tad cold. You could've atleast said thanks for entering my contest or something nice. Are you having a bad night or something? Sheesh!

        Well, it's impossible to read.

        I'm sorry, that was rude.

That was very sweet that you wrote that for you sister, but it's hard to decode.

        Thanks for entering my contest.

A little while back someone I knew wanted to show his son what it was like to be incapacitated. The child had seen someone in a wheelchair and his dad wanted to help him understand what the feeling would be like, and teach him a valuable lesson. He had his son sit in an armchair, and tied (loosely, and only for a short time to teach the lesson) one of his arms to a chair. Within 30 seconds the child was extremely uncomfortable, and the point had been made and lesson taught. We can often be callous to others but if we are just willing to see things through their eyes for a minute, our perspective would change forever. I imagine this poem has done that for those who have read it, and now can relate better to just a bit of the challenge that comes with being dyslexic.

Thank you so much! This comment made me laugh and smile! I love your story about the lesson. I think it is very healthy indeed to be able to get the feel for things, and see things, in other people's shoes. When I was younger my brother and I would blind fold eachother, in the house for better safety , and we would walk around for like a half hour each time to see what it was like to be blind. It was fun but at the same time it was a real eye opener as to what it's like to not see. (haha "eye opener" hahah) Anyways, I believe having even just a glimpse as to what others go through makes you appreciate all the more and be more greatful for what you have! Thank you so much for reading and commenting! Your words have made my day!
      Sincerely,
      Sarah
