Goodbye to you

Michael Darling,

My heart breaks with every tear
that marks your perfect face.
Causing this I can not do,
so I did not say goodbye to you.

Baby now I’m gone
but with you my heart
will always be.
I always cared more
than I ever let you see.
When I kissed your cheek
I wished it was your lips.
And when you held my hand
I never wanted to let you go.

I love you too much
to ever start liking you.
Pray for me as a do for you...

Don't worry I'll be home soon.

    Wow this is tremendously beautiful and really reached me. What a wonderful creative write. But more importantly, it has so much deep emotion and care in it that this poem is more felt than read. Excellent work.
