You could never tell the truth,
you always lied to me,
told me I was beautiful
but I have eyes and can see.
Nothing has been truthful
all were lies,
your beautiful face
held a lying tongue.
Distant worlds they are near
but your lying tongue
took them from me,
what is it you wish to do?
All you can do is lie and lie
can't you see, I will say goodbye,
distance has taken its toll,
now we drift further apart.
Time will not take and be kind,
for the lies you tell destroy us,
walk away as you have done so many times,
with painful world and lies.
