It started quite simply really,
It was a block-wide Halloween party.
Jon on his bike did a wheelie,
As Jane gave out the Smarties.
Two hours past sundown,
The children went to bed.
That's when things got down,
And people got out of thier heads.
Michael from accross the street,
Was with the Cat Next Door.
Jessica had her homemade treat,
And everyone hit the floor.
Lizzie rode through the crowd,
Like surfing a tidal wave.
Just as the music truly got loud,
The mothers began to rave.
Seems someone slipped the littles,
A potion in their candy.
It was hidden in their sweet vittles,
And sent them to sleep quite handy.
Too late now misplaced Mom!
The party has just hit it's stride!
There goes the drunk Dom,
And there's no place to hide!
Slowly dawn comes to welcome,
Sweet November to the year.
By the time the sweet rays come,
We're all passed out I fear.
