Empty Soul

No words to describe what I feel inside,
Once a heart so full, now an empty soul.

A now blank space where I used to see your face.
I’m cut so deep and it hurts to speak.

I gave you it all and you let me fall.
I’m on the ground and still I’m bound.

You took what I gave freely and decided to leave me,
So I sit here in shame embarrassed by my name.
Naked and cold with a story never to be told.
