The night a calm, no sound for miles.
I looked to you, and our hands held together.
I felt the gentle wind pick up, my hair lightly tousled around.
The smell of the midnight blue picked up in the wind.
It was such a wonderful, yet subtly smell.
Like it was so faint even with us walking along.
The nighttime sky was just so clear,
You could almost lay back and just count every star there.
The moonlight reflecting off the midnight blue.
You could almost hear sounds of waves crashing against the pier.
Walking along, looking around, when there's so many people around.
It's just you and I, and no one else. Life seems to stop when its just us.
Your hand against my check and you turn me to you.
I sigh and cuddle into the warm hand.
Looking into your eyes, I smile so fondly.
There's no one else here, just the midnight blue.
I tiptoe up I kiss you on the lips,
Our eyes fall closed, and you pull me into your arms.
My knees feel almost weak, which it didn't matter to me.
I was locked into your warm embrace.
The wind it blows I can faintly taste,
The midnight blue, and the warms of it.
So here we are embraced in each others arms.
Standing right here in the midnight blue
