I guess that now i see
But every word
the left your lips
was hearbreaking to me
not because it was lies
but because the truth is pain

and everything you know bout me
or what you think you know
is everything that i ever
opened up to show

learning from mistakes...
people dont seem to think i do
but the biggest thing i have learned
is not to trust the likes of you

the dirty word you used on me
should roll right off my back...
but lately i've been searching
so instead it caused a crack

the words you used were full of lies
but you did get one thing right
i've fallen prey as you said
to those stalkers of the night.

So perhaps parts of that are right
maybe i am what you say
but little girl, act your age
