Danielle and Thomas
joined at the hip
soon to be wed
and then what a trip!
Off to Afghanistan
with Unit in common;
gearing up in marriage
with hooting and hollering
Supporting each other in wedded bliss
these two patriots never will miss
one without the other, this never will be;
watch out you rebels, they’re in harmony!
Danielle and Thomas
joined at the hip
Author notes

This is spunky and seems apropos for the newlyweds embarking on such a (double) mission. Congrats to the happy couple, too.

I can't help but laugh as I picture this. Your poem holds amazing imagery and was a delight to read. You don't know this but Danielle is country all the way through so this sounds just like her. Thank's for the entry.
