horror.

she heard a slight tapping on the window in her dazeful slumber,
her fear and loathing dragged her asunder
in the dead and black of the night,
what she saw sure did give her the biggest fright,
her deceased husband
begging and pleading
with his sunken eyes
to be let in.

I read a book last night called "The Enchanted World- Tales of Terror" and was inspired to write one of my own, it's not nearly as good, in my opinion.
