Accept It

Caustic black gloss mingles with bright ether, struggling to become free
As a chemical rainbow skitters across a puddle of oil on the soil.
(Move and the colours move with you)

Rising factory chemical clouds are lit by the moon's rays above.
Acrid, wonderful yellow shades softly ascend high,

                                                                                                free

Both sublimely beautiful,
Don't try to deny it;
Please,
Don't let this moment dissipate.

And between these two?

You.

Between nature and artifice, you forge the link.
                                          you are the link.

You teach Us to accept it,

The inexorable beauty of destruction.

Author notes

Not sure how to go about your contest.

I did recently go over my previous stuffs as you suggest cos I was showing them to someone else. I have come back to writing from a while of being on hiatus. Maybe that means something to you.

Anyway, nice to meet you and hope you like thissun!

    Wow, I love this.
I haven't time to comment properly at the moment, but I'll just say I loved the rawness of this and the structure style. It's a free structure. :} Love the vocab too, and

    "The inexorable beauty of destruction"

    Is actually brilliant.

    Me likes. Clap Clap.
