If I had a castle,
you would be my Queen,
as you've always been,
in my regal dreams.
Nothing's as it seems there,
when I am with you,
Even when it rains,
the sky is bright and blue -
the sun's canary yellow,
and shines beside the moon,
royal blue and silver,
on a Tuesday afternoon.
There aren't any peasants,
everyone's a duke or earl,
a duchess, a fair lady,
a nobleman (or girl).
As pretty as a pearl,
with diamonds in their eyes,
everybody's beautiful,
when they take off their disguise -
to frolic in my kingdom,
where I'm 'The King of Kings',
The Prince of Inner Light,
and The British Lord of Rings.
