Broken Spirit

Mind in a daze
unable to think clear
your spirit broken

The pain you went through
unbearable something you could not see
something you should have never had to deal with

Your heart aches
and your soul wants peace
to find that one thing to make it alright

Though I cant turn back time
I can give you my hand
show you that life is worth living

Be your friend
through the good and bad
and never let you fall

This is what I can say to you
hold your head up high
even when it feels like you cant

You are stronger than you think

This is to a friend I just made on here. I have not known her that long but she went through something that I will not get into here. I just hope that she can find it in herself to pick herself up.

    Beautiful Write.

    This a wonderfully composed poem. Full of emotion and delicate imagery that enforces what lies behind the metaphors of "Friendship".

    Aww this is a wonderfully beautiful write indeed! Your friend must be very special to you for you to write this!!! I love the message in this particular write about "you are stronger than you think!" Good flow to this poem and you have a great talent i can tell. Hope your friend makes it through whatever it is she is facing. It is nice to know she has someone like you for support!

    Beautiful write, Robin. It doesn't surpirse me at all that you want to give encouragement to people you meet here. You have such a huge, generous, compassionate heart. You are able to feel other's pain, because you've been through hard things, yourself; you identify with others so easily. Wonderful write! Beautiful background; truly fitting for giving hope and inspiration.
