I was city bred when I was young
knew all of the songs that had been sung
on the transistor radio, an' they all could make me glow
thinkin' one day I would be the star of one
Had to leave one day move to the sticks
never thought country and me would mix
till I saw you there one day, you took all the doubts away
an' there's nothin' I believe you couldn't fix
Now the sunshine is all I live to see
it's the light of your love inside of me
Got forever to enjoy, with you my country boy
an' your country girl is all I want to be

i can relate to this in a small way for i was was raised in the city and then moved to the country and the difference is shocking...but country loving and star filled nights simply makes everything all right...i love it! winner for sure
