Clockwork

Listening to a shallow beat
As if time were pressed
Spinning and spinning like clockwork.
I am still, but awake.
Within the call of a setting sun
The never-ending silence
Awoken to the falling leaves
That have rendered my memory
When the world was encased
Within my palm
And no one realizes...

What did you think

I'm glad that I read this poem, My favourite part was

    "Spinning and spinning like clockwork."

I can really relate to the feeling that life is passing you by and it leaves you all alone to sort out problem that you areen't even ready to face yet.
