I am burning alive
with memories of you
Your voice is penetrating
making my body weak
Haunting me with words you have said
The love still with me,
causes tears of agony
I can't get rid of your presence,
which I feel around me always
You no longer care or know I love you still,
making sure I know you have lost all feelings towards me
You kill me as slowly and painfully as possible
and I will never forget your love I once had

    ahh, what a beautifully written sad poem. love is a hard thing to forget, especially one that means so much to you. You have expressed your feelings well in this right. Just remember that love will come to you many times and usually when you least expect it. Hang in there and never stop sharing your feelings in your poems

    coming upon the road to freedom i saw your face. just when i was free i came to find that what i had was not what it seemed. now i sit and wonder why, the pain i have hurts so good. now i know that what ive found, this thing called freedom i do not want. so tie me up, lock the door, this pain i once felt, i feel no-more.

    Wow. Your words reflect thoughts and emotions I have all the time. The love that I have had and will always have will never die even though some times I wish they would. They say if you love someone you let them go. That is the hardest of anything to do. I don't want to let you go. I want to show you the kind of love that never dies or never makes you cry again.
