I hate to be the bearer of bad news,
but hopefully this is something
we all can do. Six billion people plus
live on this earth and it still grows
birth after birth.
About 330 million Americans in the
U.S.A, and many more will be born
today. But America is so divided by
races, religions, pride-- something
you can't hide.
Groups of controversy-- black against
the White, Christians against Jews,
Gays against Straights, rich against
poor. Nobody's playing by the
rules. It's the same in the world,
all are becoming fools.
About six billion people are not really
our friends; many would like to see America
end. American troops grow thin; the
battles are getting harder to win.
330 Million Americans vs. the world,
thousands for each man, woman, boy
and girl. Clearly the writing is on the
wall. America's about to fall.
If we don't all come together
things will get worse and never
get better. The final call is on the
world stage; will we make peace or
all drown in rage?
It's time for the world to come on
though and get with the red ,white ,
and blue. The finger points at all
of you. America, she's calling your
name, this is the end game. It's
time we all vote for peace; time
for the fighting to cease.
Just imagine a world war three--
gone will be man, planet, air
water, and history. A world
that lost it's patience ends in
fire and radiation.

Whoa...
Honestly makes you think about the way the world is and try to compare the realities of America to the rest, for we seem to stand out in our own way. Sadly I must agree that we seem to be tunneling the drain and even though we have the power to change it whether or not that will actually happen though is a whole other bundle of thoughts.
One thing about your poems that I enjoy is the format and the flow of it. I honestly must say that I don't recall ever seeing a poem set up the way yours are. I love the flow and the ryhming that you have with it as well. Very nicely done!

the best I can tell is the more I am the less you are,
from form
intelligence
religions
why the need for the illusional ladder
and why must we walk over what we perceive as less than to get to the top,
when we learn to lift our fellow human being above us is the only way to change, to grow.
we will see the reflection of love with our eyes
for now what we see is the reflection of hate
unity, sincere unselfish love is all that is needed
the cycle is overwhelming
