I know there might be some
out there in this wide world
that would want to make you
change, but not this girl.
Do not change your ways
just to go about to please me,
for it is those sassy things you do
that make me happy, you see.
From your words on the phone,
or written here in poetry,
to thoughts of just holding your hand
out by the lake under a tree.
Even your wild side
that cause me to turn deep red,
when you speak of all you plan
to do once we have enter our bed.
So, I state it here for all to see,
what I really want from you.
That is for you to always be
faithful to yourself and true.
Do not go changing a single thing,
not for me as I love you just as you are.
But right now our love is wonderful
even if it is only from afar.

Yes, Rick, our love is special,
and I love you for whom you are.

This is a wonderful write and is how it should be. We should always stay true to ourselves and not lose our individuality when we fall in love, i believe it is the imperfections that make the person and is what draws us to love them. Best of luck in the contest ~sugar~
