The Brightest Angels

Even the brightest angels
cry,
need someone
(or something)
to lean on...

Even the strongest of angels
with wings of ebony or ivory
Robes of either obsidian or pearl.
Even those angels need love.

But this angel's leaning post
was not what most would expect;
it did not rely on itself or others
but on Love.

Yet this angel in particular
from the deepest depths of the Void
leans on one angel
from the highest reaches of Heaven

Heaven and Hell collide
in a destructive distrustful disaster
with every kiss
but set in stone they are

    This is one of my favorite pictures that I took in a local cemetery near where I live I think you have done very well with the prompt. Loved the storyline and imagery...Loved these lines....
