Sitting on the porch swing,
rain, and your arms falling around me,
I couldn't be happier,
than to have you here with me...
Soaking up the love
and forgiving me,
for loving you too much.
Riding in your truck seat,
you say you have a surprise for me,
I have to close my eyes,
or a surprise it will not be...
Closing my eyes
I wonder,
how do you love me so much?
Standing in the pasture,
you kneel down on one knee,
placing a ring on my finger,
& asking "Will you marry me?"
Tears start streaming,
I can't stop crying,
I'm so happy we have this love.

I have to agree with Mr Kodak about the Rascal Flatts resemblance; that song is one of my all time favourites and that music clip is too because it shows a love just like this - gorgeous poem

Awwwww how mushy mushy this is...lol. Never could do mushy myself, but you seem to have a knack for it. And here I thought when he got on one knee he was going to say " Is your sister available for a date". Leave it to me... LOL. Great poem though the rhyme and flow are flawless.
