Death has no Heart

As lovers embrace in death's hold,
there is one story that remains untold:

In a time of evil and sordid deeds,
when lovers were chosen for money needs-
there were two families, each a foe,
this is the tale of Juliet and Romeo.

Dark nights hid the lovers' dance,
they saw each other at every chance.
Families spilt blood to no avail,
their attempts were futile- broken and frail.

With pale-silk skin, she was his moon-
but fate would have justice fairly soon.
As the tomb sheltered her sleeping features,
her lover had quarrel with unholy creatures-

The dark he saw was too much to bare,
the longer he stared- the more it would scare.
As death touched his warm, lively lips,
Juliet awoke and moved her fingertips.

Death brought wrath upon her first sight-
Romeo was lost in an everlasting night.
As tears poured out of emmerald eyes,
Juliet cried towards the skies-

'Death hear my plea, for I ask nothing more-
let us lie as lovers of the night forever-more'
With a last bit of courage, the moon- she did so bleed,
pale, dead lovers- amongst graves, they were freed.

And never was there a
tale of more woe, than that of Juliet and her decomposing Romeo.

Tis' be a great tale of an old story, one of Romeo and Juliet retold, created in the mold of darkly lore which stems from yourself. In other words, bloody brilliant! Your rhyme works well here as does the imagery paint well the picture in ones mind. Keep writing the darkness and good luck in the contest.
