Oh, we are such lovely skeletons
all gristle and bone
down to our own
sleek lines that nestle
so comfortably into one another
my elbow falling
in between your ribbones
your pelvis calling
to my skull.

This was different from the other entries I have gotten. I loved the way you described the bones. AS if they were buried with more than one person. Thanks for entering and good luck in the contest!

There have been several poems that I read so far that are a little different and this is one of them - well done.
Thanks for entering and good luck in the contest. -

MERCY! (cough! Just clearing my throat!) Oh lord! That is simply steamy... So simple, yet it has the biological scream of the animal to it... Lovely!
