I step back and see myself transitioning out of Spring,
sitting down and imagining what Summer will bring.
I smile at the uncertainty and the hopefulness of happier days,
laugh at the warmth of a bonfire's blaze.
Summer is supposed to be the funnest part of the year,
yet for some reason that is my biggest fear.
Twenty-one years of Spring and now its time for something new,
time for the flowers and rain to say adieu.
Years from now I will be in the Fall,
my favorite season of them all.
When life is settled and my own children will be fresh like rain.
a husband by my side and happiness will be hard to contain

'Summer is supposed to be the funnest part of the year,
yet for some reason that is my biggest fear.'
developing this more would allow the poem to discover more depth....cheers!

I ask for constructive criticism thats what this site is about if you cannot give it then you should just not comment. The fact that you got points for this crappy personal opinion of a poem that i spent my time on
