I'm truly in love with the way your heart breaks.
Shriveled.
A cold body curled up in a ball--
saliva spilling over chapped lips.
Whispering,
"Goodbye lover…"
Your pale cheeks instantly fill with twitches.
Your eyes spoke in volumes,
especially when you became uncharacteristically quiet.
Nostalgia reverberated
off of all the trees.
Keeping my head in the clouds was no longer safe.
The thickest of branches broke
…and away went all of my speech bubbles.
You--
reverberated off of all the trees.
I stepped back to capture cataclysm at its finest,
at its upmost highest peak.
All I could do was think:
"You're truly in love with the way revenge looks on me."
Author notes
I just started re-reading Twilight, so I got a lot of inspiration from some of the scenes.
I also got a TON of inspiration from the songs in my playlist
Playlist:
"Again" by: Flyleaf.
"A Summer In Ohio" from: The Last 5 Years, the musical.
