The door bell rang
gran was here
Oh, no I thought
as I tried to disappear
Don't get me wrong
I love her so
but as soon as she's in
she doesn't let go
Gran starts with
hello my dear
give me a big hug
come over here
Captive there's
no place to go
'cause she already has me
in a vice like hold
Firm on my cheeks
her cold hands are placed
like a squeeze box
she squashes my face
Until my cheeks are
a ripe autumn blush
and I'm starting to think
please don't pucker up
But...then it comes
my deflated moan
as her lips start to form
her famous donut O
Drool-laces start to run
down the sides of her chin
as she begins to suck
her wrinkled cheeks in
A twinkle in her eyes
she pulls me in close
as I squirm and wriggle
wrinkling up my nose

they are always so slushy
sloppy and wet

This poem struck me hard because I have been in this situation with my grandmother. She makes the same face! Also, I love how you kept it short and sweet, and gave us enough imagery to see the action behind the words.
This only had one minor problem, in the line 'an hasty adieu' the 'an' is supposed to be an 'a'. Other than that, fantastic job and thank you for sharing your wonderful poem! -
