old love is the sweetest
the most well worn
like a comfy pair of old shoes
content in each-others arms
willing to do whatever
the day calls for
vows need not be spoken
for they are already said
in their eyes
truths are true
and stay that way
lies are soon discovered
known always is their thoughts
nothing is kept hidden
and they like it that way.

slipping on a favorite sweatshirt
knowing everything will be okay now.
