Let The Chips Fall, But Stay Optimistic

Jeremy is a young man of good conscience.
A young man of good talent at writing
Because he believes in so many things.

He believes in the positive side of life;
He's optimistic and so generous.

I can tell
By simply reading his poems.
He writes honestly,
Reveals his thoughts expressively
Which makes me proud.

He's showing he believes
Very much in himself.

With his birthday approaching
How can we not be happy for him?
He's going one step further
In his years on earth.
We can only hope
He continues to do well.

Let the chips fall at times
But stay optimistic.
