Her voice rings in my ear
like melodies of a sparrow,
singing sweet songs
I long to hear
intimate echoes that
creep within the depths
of my broken heart,
like shadows in the night
calling me into realms
of melancholy heaven,
where dreams merge with
lonesome yearnings
lulling lullabies in
a fairytale fantasy,
alluring my soul into a
labyrinth of wishing sorrows
as I ache for my love
in fields of agony, where
daffodils and lilac's cover me
in enchanted comforts
whilst I sort out the insanity
of my calamitous misfortune,
amidst nightmares of
a haunting romance in ruin
