God's Wonderland

Missing image
The night moon shines a glare
through the lonely tree...
It stands alone
as the dark makes it a frightful sight

But frightful it truly is not...

Just as the need of us all,
the trees need some care; some love;
the beauty in nature we don't  often see
for our eyes have been blinded to the natural gifts God has given...

So often, we take for granted
the sights and smells of nature;
some even intentionally destroy...

Oh, if the trees could speak!
How they would beg to not be cut down

We should all be like Alice
and be awed by nature as if discovering Wonderland
for it IS wonderland; it is God's creation

Isn't that wonder enough?

    I think the greatest gifts that God gives us
    all, are the things that most are blinded of.
    Like the beautiful trees, this is a very beautiful
    time of year but some never notice it. you poem
    is so true.

    yes indeed, we all I believe take to much for granted..I adore the beauty of nature but I think this is the artist in me..I hate our beautiful forests being turned into endless concrete jungles..we should respect God's gifts and Mother Earth..Mother Earth allows us to dwell here; yet, we continue to disrepect her with cruelties..Mother Earth contiues to stirke back, but we never seem to listen..powerful piece that sparked many thoughts from me
