I still love you

"Hello"

The simplest of words that
Contain so much power to
Send shock waves through my heart
My body in a quiet storm.

Dictating that small part of me
That clutched so dearly to reality
Transforming my being into
A malfunctioning love struck machine.

The sanity slowly melting away
Like a popsicle under the sun on a hot summer day
The insanity eating away at my brain
I've lost control and then
The memories flooding back

Flash after flash after flash
Each one taking it's own identity
They have become a part of me
Carrying a single droplet of happiness

Finally making me feel as a whole
Delivering my missing half
That has been gone since you've been away
Filling me with the purest of joys

And now I know I shall tell you that
Baby, I'm still in love with you.

  • The first poem I went to for how I felt, and it described beautifull how I feel, the words as a writer I couldnt come up with myself.
