Patience has never been a virtue for me if waiting in line at a grocery checkout is unnerving how do I steel myself for your long wait? Am I even on your cosmic list of to do things? Or just a forgotten post -it- note covered over by the latest Far Side calendar…
I suppose I could ring you, but that could be construed as being pushy, besides I hear you’ve gotten yourself an unlisted number, smart move on your part.
Your secretary doesn’t schedule appointments anymore and hasn’t for many a millennium so an impromptu stopping by would be pointless and what’s to stop you from sneaking out the back even if I did? I heard you pulled that one on poor old Moses when he got irate about you pulling all your shenanigans when you hardened Pharos heart all those times when he and his brethren tried to take leave of Egypt. You’re as slippery as oil when it comes to sticky situations.
I could ask Dear Abby, she’s known for giving good solid advice, but I think she’s dead by now and I’m just not in the mood for a séance also there is the ‘Magic Eight Ball’ but unless your questions are fulfilled by the standard pat answers such as ‘Yes’ ‘No’ or ‘Maybe’ then you are shaking and shaking and getting nowhere.
A psychic is a possibility but it just seems if they were really psychic they’d already know I needed help and would search me out, I’m not sure. Besides the good ones are all on T.V now and charge too much.
So I’ll sit here and drum my fingers impatiently and wait what other option do I have?
