The Father's Arms

How much I would rather be,
In The Father's arms.

I could go out,
And meet a beautiful man,
Maybe I'd fall in love.
I could have so many friends,
I didn't know what to do,
Who to see first.
But what would I have when I got home at night?
What would I have in the end?

How I would much rather stay,
In The Father's arms.

It was stupid for me,
To even think of that,
To envy those who are far from You.
Because if I was where they were,
And I wasn't close to You.
I wouldn't know what to do.
I'd have no where to turn.
You know how I'd hate that I was there,

How much I would rather be,
In The Father's arms.
