I see you next to me,
But are you really there?
Your face hidden beneath your hood,
Your soul tucked deep inside,
You hide your ways,
Your soul away,
As though there’s a war,
Deep down inside,
You want to come out,
But your insecurities say no,
So your keep to yourself,
Unable to unfold,
A cage inside you,
Holds your fragile heart,
But is the pain inside,
Eating you apart…

i like it...it has a good rhyme although the choice of words could have been a little better, it is still a very good poem filled with emotion
