you were everything and more to me
I had waited all my life for you
you were all my wishes coming true
Didn't you pursue me, with desires
set alive the passions and the fires
of a love I thought could never die
losing you made all love seem a lie
Do you never think of me today
am I just someone you've cast away
someone who was only for the day
how could you treat anyone this way?
I remember every moment shared
then I thought you were someone who cared
dreamed of life with you forevermore
now my life is empty like before
one day, you may lose and feel the same
then you may learn love is not a game

Excellent but very poignant. Usually when someone does another wrong they get their just desserts down the track. It may take time but it does happen. I am sorry for this tme in your life. It sure makes one wary and jaded for any further relationships.
