First off, incredibly powerful and moving. This piece speaks to me personally with specificity, so it has a significant impact. The separation of lines and stanzas creates a very effective halting and out-of-breath-esque feeling to the poem. The word choice is simple, but effective to retain the common man's desperation. I appreciate the 9th, 10th, 11th, 14th and 15th lines as they seem to be heartbeats.
