you had a voice the angels envied, perhaps that's why they stole it. you were a beauty quen terrified of dresses. darkness had no power over youm you were the sun in every dark room. i was just lucky enough to be made in your image, now what do i do without you?

you were a teacher like no other until i pushed it too far and learned more than i should. years were watsed on you, pens ran dry, and i typed lies just to keep you comfortable. i nearly died trying to convince you that i was alive. i dont regret it.

we disagreed from the very start. we were star-crossed. we were doomed to fail but we tried love all the same. days were burned up like your cigarettes but we lost the ash trays. you sent me to my room and i stared rock-eyed at a map full of dream-places. cliched as ever, my last words are i love you

we tried friendship so many times but we lived on battlegrounds. i always felt like i was walking on a minefield really, but that's ok because i got used to the explosions after awhile. i got used to begging you for mercy and it all became ok.

i miss you, simple really but tar-burns never hurt me more. some days i knew just where to find you and others you hid form even the gods. i wasted no time on any of you, it was worth every agonizing second. even when we argued i secretly agreed with oyu so often, but who was i to admit it?

I am nothing without you, dried up and empty since my heart beats only for you. I was a girl of darkness and nightmare eyes but you saw more. Your smiling face is my sunshine and I've become so pale. Take me away form here, baby, you are my life.

you keep forgetting who you are, you keep losing yourself in the darkness of your own bedroom and how can that be? how can you lose your own image when your dreams stare you down? once i swore you were strong, i stood before your god and i fought for you but, sweetie, i just can't do it any longer.
