Not Christ the man.

He failed to impress after their little tryst.

And finally the pedestal was toppled.

And that bright fire was put out long before

It could scorch her heart.

    it is easy to envision someone the way you'd have them to be,

    and a whole new ballgame when executing that transformation. It is better to let go what you know won't work verses prolonging the inevitable...as hard as that sometimes can be.
