I shall dance through my life with her many delights
partners are we, as we ride through the light.
There's much to celebrate, we'll join hands with hope
even through times of a slippery slope.
Each motion combined like the waves on the sea
ebbing and flowing there's no guarantee.
When the rollercoaster dips in times of dismay
it's time to take aim and ride on into the fray.
Those clowns memerise as they follow the crowd,
I'll smile to myself and stand alone, proud.
I'll conquer those demons that dodge in and out
making sure that my dance is never in doubt.
And my vision roams free on that carousel ride
I'll glide vivid motion that won't be denied.
The ups and the downs come and go, that's life's quest
but I'll soar to great heights until dreams come to rest.

Hello and thank you for the contest entry.
I liked your write, however I felt that your rhyming seemed a little forced in places, namely stanza 2. There were also a grammar error in the first line; it doesn't flow properly.
Other than those things, I found in general that your poem was very uplifting and inspirational too, especially in the ending. The balance between imagery and emotion was just right as well, which I think is the defining piece of your write.
