A good massage is needed after riding that bloody stick
but people expect it and that gets on her wick.
No time to practice during the rest of the year,
making new spells and potions and fearful costume gear.
There's no union to speak of, so no holidays,
the house is a mess, in complete disarray,
kicking out all those ghouls and spectres that abound
it's all quite enough to make a witch lose her ground!
Then there's Mr Warlock who kicks up his feet
expecting a beer and a few other treats!
He's got to be kidding cos she can't even walk,
hobbling bent right forward and looking like a dork!
There's a new store just opened with broomsticks galore
a new elite model that won't have her crawling on all fours.
A nice padded seat and she'll smile with elation
with the knowledge that next year there'll be much less frustration.
And then there's those children who keep calling her mum
constantly nagging her to play in that pond full of scum.
But with a big sigh she finally gets them off to school
and makes a new brew for next year's Hallowe'en fools.
