In what world is all perfect?
not even dreams have such luxury
nightmares steal peace from slumber
turning out any light that held hope
letting fears take their hostage
leading you down a path of destruction
where dangers are seductive
and death finds its way through a smile
perversions masked with pleasant faces
entrance their victims to watch them burn
evil spreads like a cancer
after raising a fit host
it gorges itself on misery
and bites the helping hand you lend
further infecting all who surround
and that is why we live in shit....

How unfortunately true.
The world is a pig pen of hypocrisy and lies, pain and deceit.
This is a well written and somewhat thought provoking piece, Lorena.
I found myself reading it again as I was making this comment, for it has a strange attraction, purely by the boldness of it.
You raise many valid points, for example evil spreading like cancer... Evil does spread because we, as a species are attracted to it. It speaks to mans primeval instinct for dominance ond superiority...
