Drown inside the colour of my eyes
Down the darkened passages of my mind
Alone we're born, the die alone
To walk between forests of stone
Upon the winds of angels breath
The tender cold, black kiss of death
Where passion once raw, falls and burns
We are born alone
Blood and gasoline, ignite my dreams
Rip all hope from under me
Down I plummet to who knows where
I was born alone
Lying still in darkened earth
At last, the end of my Fathers curse
A box entombs this rotting flesh
I have died, alone
Please tell me what you think

Thank you very much, Lorena.
Darkness isn't a choice, it's a way of life....
I'm glad you enjoyed this piece, and thank you for commenting.
We are never alone, even in our darkest hours... Someone is always there, be it the one you love, your family or even God...
