What is your name? my name is Samantha

Who are you? I am a woman who has triumphed for the most part over many obstacles.

What are you? I am a recoverying addict with over 1 year sobriety and an abuse survivor.

How are you? Today, nervous - most days I get by.

Where are you?  I am in Connecticut.

How old are you? 33

What gender are you? I am woman hear me roar (LOL).

Do you care about politics? I care that everyone should be given a choice, but not necessarily do I vote myself.

Do you know who you are? I am not sure... I used to be a girl who let everyone and everything get her down, but I am pulling myself out of that hole as we speak.

What is your current occupation? I can't work. I miss it though.

What do you think of school? I'm agoraphobic, not sure if they had a word for it then... but I always felt there were too many people... then I changed to an Alternative High School and flourished. 

What do you consider fun? I love to hike, and camp and hang out with my girlfriends.

Do you listen to music? I love country music.

What is your favorite song? Concrete Angel by Martina McBride

Do you like animals? I love all animals but the only one I have for a pet is a cat. Her name is Midnight and she has thumbs on all paws.

Are you racist? Thats so funny. I am white, and all my friends and lovers are and have been black. What do you think?

Do you like to watch movies? I like movies on the lifetime channel and on hallmark.

What is your favorite movie? Dirty Dancing - I am sorry that Patrick Swayse is gone... he was a great actor and a wonderful dancer.

Do you like dinosaurs? Don't know never met one.

Do you like to sing(when no one can hear)? of course I do, doesn't everybody.

Do you like to dance(when no one can see)? I can't dance.

What do you think of beauty pageants, honestly? I guess for some they are the way of the world... but I don't care much about the outside of a person as much as I care about the inside.

Do you know anything, honestly, about beauty pageants or is it all based on what you have heard or seen on youtube?  I don't watch Youtube.

Are you creative? I am a poet after-all.

Are you unique? If you got to know me, you would think I was... but to the outside world... no I don't think they would notice a difference.

What is your greatest goal? My greatest goal was to stop smoking crack, and so far I have done it.

Do you know anything about love? I know it can last forever and be beautiful, and I know it can be horrible... I have been a part of the magic of love, and I have seen it destroy people.

Are you in love with someone? Not right now.

Who do you miss? I miss being in love.  Anybody... Somebody.  I miss having someone special in my life.

Who do you love? I love my mom.

Who do you hate? I hate abusers.  All kinds of abusers and there are MANY MANY kinds.

Who do you wish to know better? There isn't anyone right now.

Who do you wish to get rid of? If it was that easy, everybody would do it.

Who are you afraid of? I am not afraid of anyone.  I have been through hell and have survived... I am not afraid of anyone anymore.

Would you rather live in the City or the Country? The country is beautiful... and quiet.

Do you care how you look, honestly? Well lets see... I used to use drugs... then I quit.  and got fat... fatter than I have ever been before, and I don't like it... So now I am doing something about that... I am changing the way I life my life, and the way I eat.  So while I don't care what other people think about how I look, I care about how I think I look... and right now - that's what I am focused on most in my life.

Do you want to be loved? Doesn't everybody, but I would like it if I could be loved without any pain.

Do you like to be alone? I am usually alone.  Yes I think I prefer  it.

Are you afraid of anything? I am afraid of riding in a car with someone else driving.  I had a bad experience in a car, it didn't crash thank god - but we came real close - and now I don't ride in cars.

Are you afraid of rejection or being ignored? No been through that, done that.

What unsettles you? NOISE... I hate loud noise.

What about you could be improved? I could lose the weight, but as I said before I am working on that.  I already improved the hardest thing - stopping the use of drugs.

What are your flaws? I am heavy.  I like ice cream.  I can't stand noise.  I can't work outside the house because I have panic attacks. I am an addict (though in recovery).

Would you take other people's advice about how to improve yourself, honestly? probably not.

What do you do with your alone time? read, play with my cat. think.

What do you want to do with your life? All I want now is to get healthy... I will worry about the rest of it later.

What is your creative outlet? writing poetry, playing scrabble. and winning.

Are you human? basically. not supernatural though I believe in ghosts.

Do you want to appear human, honestly? I think I do already.

How do you want to appear to the world? Like a girl who can take care of herself.

Do you hate to be exposed? I could write a book on exposure - of what I have been through, and what happened after... but you really don't want to hear it - do you? honestly?

Do you lie? sometimes

Do you tell the truth? when its necessary

What is your favorite holiday? Halloween - you can be anything you want to be on this day.

Who are the most important people in your life(List the top 10 most important people and why you love them)?

Mom - she is my BF
Dad - he is a good man, a great provider

(there aren't 10 people in my life). at the moment.

What is your favorite food? ice cream

If you were a sandwich, what would you be made of? fluff and peanut butter

What is your favorite color and why? green, it soothes me.

What is your favorite subject in school or your major in college? history has always been my favorite subject.

What do you believe you can bring to the world? I believe I can show others that it can be done... you can bring yourself up and out of the doldrums and disaster of drug addiction... if i can do it, anybody can.

Who do you believe you can be? I just hope to be a good friend, a good daughter. and maybe someday a good mom.

Do you feel exposed yet?  Not really, I am very open about myself... anyone who asks - will get the full unhindered truth.  if they can handle it, can you?
