Keep your drama over there,
away from these ears.
Let's just say I do not care
about crocodile tears.
You can pop your own corn
when the next episode starts.
I am far to weary and worn
to play your queen of hearts.
Too many tears have trailed
the length of cheek.
Too many times have failed
to not make me weak.
Keep your drama over there,
away from these ears.
Let's just say I do not care
about crocodile tears.
You are far to old to do this,
act your grown up age.
Stop asking for one last kiss,
just turn the page.
He does not want to change,
he made up his mind.
Keep within your own range,
and love you will find.
Keep your drama over there,
away from these ears.
Let's just say I do not care
about crocodile tears.

Sweet flow here, and nice metaphors. Great job!

Crocodile tears can be endearing when the come from a small child but that's as far as it goes. I like what you did here and the use of the term emphasizes the transparent childish antics of some people. I'm with you. Keep the drama far far away from me.
Nicely written rhymer.

ohhh...i almost never read rhymes from you....this is impressive
the title caught my eyes..reminded me much of childhood...but from what i'm getting from this poem..it doesn't sound like a good memory...beautifully written
