Be me but do not judge
Be me but not overbearing
See the world how I see it
Through my eyes
Hear the music of life how I hear it
Through my ears
You can't understand me without being me
M life is confusing to those who can't
I ignore you when you yell at me
Because that’s all you do
I don’t hear hateful words from you
Because that’s all you say
The only thing I feel is your anger
It strangles me it kills me
It surrounds me faster than the light that I am
I’ve given up trying to be loved by you
Now all I do is try to avoid.
See me how I see myself and you just might cry
Feel the sadness that wraps around my heart then maybe just maybe I will be understood
Maybe you can wipe away the words that seem to be written on my heart.
