Poetic Pregnancy

As new life sparks and grows within me,
inspiration moves asunder,
leaving me to ponder,
why the words are locked inside.

Come now child, whats the deal?
I'm driven to distraction!
but oh! A thought, at last some traction;
a truth of which I can't deny.

Some day you'll be revealed, my child,
my finest poem, crafted yet.
An item I won't quick forget,
this paradox of inspiration finally to end.

Author notes

I'm quite proud of how this turned out, how could I revise it?
