Parents really do
hold a special place
in the hearts
for their children.
But, even as that
may truly be,
parents are held
in the hearts
of each child they have.
No matter how they
were taken from you,
know that right now,
they are looking down
and smiling at the person
you have become.
Your years are not
that many spent
upon this planet,
but, your heart is heavy
with the lost of both parents.
Lift your face to the sky
and feel their love pour down,
to embrace you once more,
for you are their perfect child.

Touching read. You made them seem close even though not visable. Loving write. I enjoyed the idea they are still watching with pride at their children's lives.

I miss my parents in a different manner..my severe accident cause major Amnesia..for the most part,i lost about 30 years..i can't remember family times..as we grow old memeories are more important and I have very few..

You are welcome. I was not your age when my step mom, my mom, and my dad all died. All three of them in less than one year. So, I might know a little of what you are feeling, like I said, a little bit of it.
