esspecially so in it's faceted form
catching the light and sparkling
as a royal cherry-hued carpet
rolled out for the nobility

RUBY is the gemstone of topic, which is my wife's birthstone and which we both wear among the diamond bagets on our wedding rings.
The visual shape of this descriptive poem is to resembe the shape of a faceted gemstone.
