Duplicity

A look in the mirror tells me whats true;
I sit there and stare as a I look at you.
There's two of me, one is you.
Your the one people smile at;
I'm the one and only true vampire bat.
Grey and chilling, one drinks blood,
But don't let the other fool you,
she is cold-blooded too.
They smile at a pretty face,
but if the truth was told,
It would be disgrace.
You eat the poor people,
At least, I can spare their life.
I may drain them a little,
but you kill them,
you take their life.
You're a horrid beast
You should be killed with a silver knife.
If I shall ever awaken to be you,
I know exactly what i would do.
Kill me, Killing you.

    Yikes! A spooky! *grinz* I love the 1st three lines of this poem. They really go with the picture provided for the prompt. This poem is quite the mixture of symbols. I feel both a serious and funny lilt in the style you wrote. Very chilling in some ways. The monster inside us all. Good job on this write.
