Fake promise and deception
You made me trust in you.
Smiled and held me tight
Said everything would be alright.
But you lied to me dad
Turned our lives into a struggle,
But you gave up the fight.
And I used to think your promises were true,
I was terribly naive and believed in you.
"Babygirl, I pinky promise this-
We'll always stick together,
I'll always be there,
You have no reason to worry,
Your family will always care."
Your wrong, you lied,
You deceived me,
Took my trust and abused me.
I used to think I was daddy's girl,
And you crashed my whole world.
Signed some papers, let me go,
That was the hardest punch to undergo.
You made my future hell.
Abusing my trust, locked me in a cell.
Lost my first loves,
Due to your deceit.
Couldnt push through the fear and urge to flee,
Hurt those who tried to comfort me.
And maybe your gone for now,
But your presence left its mark.
This scar I shall wear forever,
Until the day my world is dark.
