I’m a moth, seeking light.
Yet it’s night,
Night in the wilderness,
There’s so little light.
I need to fly,
But I’m weighed down with something,
These thoughts stack up,
They’re like bricks;
The constructions a safeguard- a wall,
These people can’t get in.
Stale memories get in my gut,
I just need to throw them up.
I see the corrupted bottle,
That washes down my sin.
I swear it ,give me strength
And this tainted bottle will be gone.
The bricks get so high,
And I don’t know how to remove them,
My parents never taught me the foundations,
Foundations to life,
My life.
I also swear,
I’m alright,
But..
Oh God,
I need to fly,
Let me fly,
Fly to the light.
